Valencia Basket seeks to change dynamics in the Euroleague vs. Crvena Zvezda in La Fonteta

Valencia Basket men's team returns to Fonteta for the third game in a row trying to make the home court factor count and break a negative streak of five losses in a row in European competition hosting Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade (Wednesday 6, 20:30h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 2) in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague round 12 game.

 

The taronja squad needs to turn the page and recover its best defensive version to stop one of the most offensively talented teams in the competition. A rival that they have only been able to beat in one of its four previous visits to Fonteta in a Euroleague game, although the overall balance is tied with three wins for each team in Fonteta.

 

The positive news is that little by little the infirmary is emptying and although there are players who have missed practice due to minor physical problems, the fifteen professional players are likely to be included in tomorrow's roster, which will allow coach Mumbrú to rotate the team and rest three players with an eye on an important week with three games in five days, tomorrow being the only one in La Fonteta.

 

Valencia Basket begins this twelfth round in 13th position in the Euroleague with 5-6 in the standings.
